THE LOVE STORY
We have bred Maple (Mama) with Rhett (Dad) both AKC Registered purebred Havanese, from champion bloodlines Dad has clear OFA testing and has been DNA health checked. We are waiting for Mom's DNA results at the moment and will be doing OFA testing as soon as she is able after this litter. Mom weighs about 11 lbs and Dad weighs about 10 lbs. puppies are estimated to weigh between 9 and 13 lbs full grown. They are non-shedding so some may consider them hypoallergenic. They are highly intelligent little dogs who are playful, but also love to just curl up on your lap and cuddle. Truly a velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be near their owner!

PREVIOUS BATCHES
Before we started breeding Havanese, we were breeding Malshipoos. I chose the Havanese because their looks and personalities are so similar. Also, the colors of puppies are very similar. Here are some photos from some of our previous litters of Malshipoos.

CURRICULUM
Bad Ass Breeders
Puppies have been raised using the Badass Breeder curriculum. We begin at 3 days old until 16 days old with ENS (early neurological stimulation) and ESI (early scent introduction). These exercises have been shown to improve heart rates, tolerance to stress, resisitance to disease, nose awareness, and confidence.
At 3 weeks old we begin sound desensitization and potty training. By putting a potty pad outside of their sleeping area, the puppies naturally go to potty away from where they sleep. After this point, we continue adding exposure curriculum daily to help add to their confidence, resiliency, touch tolerance, as well as sound and sight sensitivity skills.
The puppies are also being introduced to crate training. For short periods each day, they are put in their individual crate to nap, followed by taking them directly outside to the grass to potty when they wake up.
We conduct puppy aptitude testing to evaluate each individual puppy's specific traits and characteristics. This way we can recommend which personality matches best to you or your families needs.
